Stouffville Christian School offers quality education. In an attempt to enable families to take advantage of our education program, fees are kept as low as possible. It is through the generous donations from parents and supporters of the school that S.C.S. can offer its program at a cost that is lower than would otherwise be possible.

Fee Schedule and Information 2017/2018

1. Membership Fee (This fee is tax deductible) $1,500.00 Each family will pay a $1,500.00 Annual Membership Fee, to be paid in three instalments:

Upon enrollment or by April 3rd for re-enrollment – $250.00
July 15th – $625.00
Aug 15th – $625.00

Once each payment is made it is non-refundable. The full membership fee amount of $1500.00 is eligible for a tax receipt.

All Membership Fee cheques must accompany the Tuition Payment Form.

2. Tuition Fee (part of this fee may be tax deductible)

Full time: JK-8  
1st child $8,300.00
2nd child $5,500.00
3rd child $2,400.00
4th child no charge

Part-time (3 day): JK/SK
1st child $5,250
2nd child $3,500
3rd child $1,550
4th child no charge

International Student rate is $12,000.00 per student.

This includes a book & material fee as well as fees for most incidental activities, eg. Class trips, sports activities, music activities etc.

3. Miscellaneous Fees The students may be charged for some activities during the school year when extra expenses are incurred, however, we try to limit this as much as possible. Students will be asked to pay for books that have been lost or destroyed.

4. Bursaries May be applied for by families who demonstrate a critical financial need. Application forms are available from the office.

Parent Participation Tuition fees do not cover all of the school’s expenses, therefore, we ask all families to participate in fundraising and work bees. This helps keep the costs down.

Payment Schedule
A) Membership fee
– $250.00 due with enrolment / re-enrolment
– $625.00 July 15
– $625.00 August 15
Membership Fee must be paid by all families prior to the child(ren) being admitted to class. This fee is non-refundable.

B) Tuition Options
– 10 post dated cheques (Sept. – June) or
– 2 post dated cheques (Sept. & Feb.) or
– Payment in full at the start of the year or
– Arrangements with treasurer

Post dated cheques must be handed into the office on the first day of school and need to be dated no later than the 15th of each month. Tuition Fees are to be paid in full for the whole month (no later than the 15th of the month), even if the student attended classes for only part of that month.
