Staff & Board

SCS-aboutus

The focus at Stouffville Christian School is on a Christian worldview within the Ontario Ministry of Education curriculum. We believe that our children need solid grounding in God’s Word so they can differentiate between right and wrong when interpreting pressures within today’s culture.

As our mission statement reads “our education is in partnership with the home”; our teachers want to work together with you, to give our children the tools, insight and experience to help them make responsible decisions in their daily lives. Providing an environment that stimulates confidence within a caring and safe community is the basis we use at SCS for offering a unique, well-rounded, educational experience for every child.

At SCS we challenge and encourage each student, and in doing so, we pray that each one will develop into confident leaders within the intellectual, spiritual, emotional and social realms of their lives.

TopBoard

Stouffville Christian School is blessed with a passionate and committed Board. Our leadership is strong, consistent and accountable. Along with the  obvious financial and management responsibilities of a School Board, our Board’s passion is clearly demonstrated  in many other areas of the school.  Marketing and promotion strategies, organizing and participating in all fundraising activities and involvement in many of the sporting teams’ events are just a few examples of the commitment of the SCS Board members. The Board also stimulates the promotions of the school. We hold firm to Jeremiah 29:11-13

“For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.”

We continue to move forward in all aspects of the school, all the while seeking God’s direction in each decision we make along the way.

The Board has two goals. Our first goal is to support the school in growing children to be strong in character, knowledge, judgment and faith. Our second goal is to grow Stouffville Christian School to be a strong, visible member of the community.
