Core Values

Education at Stouffville Christian School is centred around Christ. This is the lens through which we view everything.

Christ is the head of the church, which is his body. He is the first of all who will rise from the dead. He is the first in everything. (Colossians 1:18)

Respect for others and for the blessings God has given us are foundational components of how we communicate Christ’s love.

Do unto others as you would have them do unto you. (Matthew 7:12)

At SCS we strive to develop students who wish to serve selflessly, as Christ served others.

Don’t think only about your own affairs, but be interested in others, too, and what they are doing. (Philippians 2:4)

In all things we strive to do our best. God desires that we strive for excellence in all we do.

Work hard and cheerfully at whatever you do, as though you were working for the Lord rather than people. (Colossians 3:23)

In all situations, God expects us to act with honesty and integrity.

Let everything you do reflect the integrity and seriousness of your teaching. (Titus 2:7)

God desires that we would be compassionate leaders who relate in a positive Christ-like manner with everyone we meet in our school, town, and world-wide communities.

Be kind to each other, tender hearted, forgiving one another, just as God through Christ has forgiven you. (Ephesians 4:32)
